The adult Canada Goose may be considered a nuisance in urban areas due to their great numbers and the mess they leave in their wake but few can dispute the charm of a group of goslings in the spring.
The adults were surprisingly tolerant of my presence near their young today but I chose to stay low and let them come to me which resulted in my being surrounded several times by goslings close enough to touch and seemingly oblivious to me. (and too close for the 300mm lens to focus!)
