Sandhill Cranes at Bark hausen Wildfowl Pre serve. Besides our White Pelicans, these may be my favorite wild birds. And perhaps what would put them at the top of the list would be their call which I've heard described as having a prehistoric sound to it... as if you could imagine hearing a similar sound during the age of dinosaurs.So today, as an added bonus, I'm also adding a short video shot from the same position as this photo was taken.
