I did not wake up this morning with any inten tion of climbing behind a waterfall for today's photo but as has happened so many times in the past three months, this project once again took me where I never imagined I'd be.Just 16 days ago Fonferek Falls hung heavy with ice (daily photo March 5th).
It is now free of the ice and thundering over the edge of the river gorge into the glen below.
Behind the falls is a cavern with a very low ceiling that gives enough room for a person to creep behind and look down the creek through the falling water.
